Children with this condition would rather struggle alone than ask for help. There is often an inability to respond to and initiate opportunities to share personal experiences with others.
10. Lack of communication
Kids with autism tend to communicate using a smaller variety of gestures, words and sounds. They tend to prefer remaining withdrawn form everyone and everything that is happening around them. Very few circumstances, like the occasional toss in the air, will get them excited.
It is important to understand that these signs are not always conclusive. They may overlap with the symptoms of other medical conditions that are not autism related. For this reason, medical examinations should be carried out to negate the possibility of autism.
